As you know, for the past month I have been growing a mustache as part of Mustaches For Kids, a charity that raises money through competitive mustache growing. My mustache was weak. It was the sort of mustache that would be impressive on the lip of your 80 year old nana, but completely unimpressive on a grown man such as myself. So I knew that I wouldn’t have a good chance of winning the best stache prize at the Stache Bash event. So I went for the other prize.

Thanks to the generosity and kindness of my friends and colleagues, I raised $441.25 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles and won the award for Most Money Raised. Or, rather, my mustache did. I am just the vessel.
